How do I remove glue from a fiberglass hood?

I've tried Goof-off, Methyl ethel keytone, and a bunch of other stuff. Will paint stripper hurt the glass? It's a stock hood, and I don't want to ruin it. When I peeled off my hood decals, all the glue stayed on, and this stuff is seriously sticky. Any suggestions apreciated.

BTW- I drove it around the block for the 1st time (after the rebuild), even though the interior is still apart - (rattled like a bus). I was VERY impressed with how it ran. I was a little concerned with the cam I selected, but it's working great with the computer! I am a little concerned with traction though.

VINYL ERASER 3 AND 1/2 INCH DIAMETER

You can remove all vinyl pinstriping, graphics, and adhesive residue without damaging the paint. Simply mount the eraser in your air drill (recommended speed is 3,500 to 4,000 rpm) and safely remove all the old body striping in minutes. Unlike chemicals and solvents commonly used for this job. The soft wheel is gentle to the finish. Not recommended for acrylic lacquer or plexi- glass.

You should be able to pick one of these up at a local paint supplier, eastwood co. sells them for $13
