spoiler

On my 87 firebird formula I have a wrap around spoiler and I can't see how to take it off. How do I take it off??

Transmission: auto
Lift your hatch--you'll see a plastic plug on each side(left and right)Pop them out and there'll be a nut under there--I believe a 10 mm--take them out and slide the spoiler forward(towards front of car)that should snap it right out! There's metal tabbs on the glass(plastic clips in the wing keep it on) Bitch to get back on tho!! Good luck!

Plus the spoiler is kinda heavy. Becareful when you take it off not to drag it on the floor. What are you doing with the spoiler?

thanks guys. I'm getting it repainted because someone put the wrong kind of paint on.
