As am sure most ppl have had or have this problem. I am trying to figure out if there is a type of spray paint that will be glossy, but not wear off that I can spary on the black caps? Mine are all faded and wearing off. I figured I would tape up the center peice that says camaro on it, and they spray paint the rest, and then I would have shiny new caps again. Is this possible with spray paint? If so, what types wont wear off quickly.

I went to Lordco Auto parts and asked around, and they told me to sand off the old paint on the caps, and spray on Bumper black paint. It worked perfectly and it was dirt cheap. 39 cents for the sand paper, and 4 bucks for the paint. They look awsome now, so if anyone else was wondering about this, here's your answer. Just to let you know, if you do decide to do this, don't spray to much at a time or else it will bleed. I did three coats and it looks great.
