Blank Lock Cylinder Part Number?
I have a 83 Camaro (Door key blank code "B")
My driver door lock is toast and I need a new one... I would like to get a "Blank Cylinder" (and have a lock smith match my key.. since there is a lock for the hatch and the "sump" cover and the storage box in the back that I would rather not replace...
So I need a "B" key blank cylinder...
Does anyone know the part number...
I've seen 12398552, 9632769, 12549131, 12546858, 12505556, etc
I can only assume that some of these are for B, D, H , or K key blanks... Of course, I'm looking for the right cylinder for a "B" blank... If that makes sense.
So which one is it? One of those? Something else?
Thanks in advance!

You can always have the old or a new(keyed) cyl repinned to your current key

Re: Blank Lock Cylinder Part Number?
Yes, that is exactly what I want to do.
The old cylinder is frozen solid and is crap...
I just need to know which is the right cylinder part number for a "B" door key
GM (Brigs and Stratton actually) made (at least) 4 different cylinders... B, D, H and a K...
The last thing that I want is a "B" key for 4 spots on the car and a matching "K" key for the drivers door if that makes sense.
