I'm debating pulling mine off but I'm undecided. Whats everybody's opinion on removing the body moulding. Yay or nay?

Re: Side moulding - keep or toss?
I no longer have any body side moldings and love the smooth body line transition but everyone is different. As far as door dings, I am very conscious of where I park as the doors are a lot more vulnerable.

I am also thinking of taking it off. I have seen a few without it and I think it looks awsome. I will be freaking out about possible door dings though.

Do it! even makes an old SC look better. Only thing to watch out for is the fact the paint underneath will be less faded than the exposed paint, and probably will need a good buff and wax of the entire car so it won't stand out.

Re: Side moulding - keep or toss?
Yes, since the new paint and removal of the side molding I have been parking as far out as necessary to protect the doors. As far as how it looks, I would not have it any other way.Looks great.

I like my Second gens WITHOUT the body side moldings, and my Third gens WITH the body side moldings because it makes the car look Complete and Fully Armed, but that's just me.

My vote goes to no side molds. If you do keep them, make sure you use the later style moldings and NOT the earlier style.

Re: Side moulding - keep or toss?
Mine are still on, but if I ever do repaint the car they are staying off. I do think it looks much better without them. As far as door dings goes just don't park around other cars. I always park way out with all my cars and have not had a door ding is years.

I'm putting the mine back on. I want the exterior to look as original as possible - right down to the 5.0 liter badges...
