New carpets for $100?

My cousin was telling me about a place he baught a new carpet for his Camaro and they only charged him about $100,with shipping included.
I NEED a new carpet. Mine has holes in it. Is there anyplace online where I can find a new carpet for less than $150 or so?

Thanks.

I've seen a company auctioning them off on Ebay, I heard that they were new carpets in the box, and that is just how the guy decided to market them. You could also try classic industries or acc interiors (www.accmats.com)

Good luck,
Mike

A-1 AUTO has the front and cargo area for $199.that $100 was more then likely just for the front or rear.there is two pieces.the a-1 auto carpet is acc carpet and there a great company to deal with.

Try Summit Racing. They are about $100. They do not cover the rear hatch area, but I dont thank any of the carpet companies do. They fit really nice too!!!!

of course companies carry the rear cargo area but you have to pay for it seperate or buy the set.If you replace the front and not the rear it wont match much.

The $100 set was probably not an ACC carpet.

Spend the extra $20 from A1-auto, get the ACC carpet, do it right. I remember reading old messages from here where nobody was happy with the Ohio Auto Mat carpet (JC Whitney/Summit) or the Newark carpet (JC Whitney).

Plus, the rear cargo area (hatchback) is cake to do, you don't have to do it at the same time as the passenger area.

Just a thought for those of you that might not be able to fork out the cash for a new carpet kit. I pulled the carpet kit from an 89 for my 82. It fit perfect but was a little sun faded. OK, it was a lot sun faded. I installed the newer carpet kit after vacuuming and shampooing it, bought some of that RIT dye in black, put the RIT dye in a spray bottle and dyed my newer carpet back to its original black color. Granted, it was used carpet but after the process, it came out looking great! And it was cheap and easy.
