Windshield wiper motor

So i didnt have a wiper motor when i got the car, i believe my car is a non-delay, well the motor i got from my buddy had the same year firebird listed on the cover so i threw it in, well my wipers only move about 5-6 in of the windshield and not very fast. I assume i got a delay motor housing and i need a non. Is there anyway to make the car work with it?

The delay module is in the black cap on the motor. I'm not sure if swaping your old cap onto the new motor will help though. With the movement you're getting it sounds like the new motor is only running thru the park cycle. Check to see if you do have a delay wiper car. New delay modules aren't that expensive.
