Glass repair question

Ok, I have a slight chip at the very top of one of my windows. Is it possible to fill it in with something rather than replace the whole window? It's really very slight, not even 1/4 inch long and half that deep. It never bothered me, but I want to get the windows tinted and I assume I'll have to take care of it in order for the tint to line up properly. TIA

there is a product at auto parts stores that allow you to repair simple little stone chips, i have used this on a few occasions and have always had great results. It only costs about 5 bucks.

YC, If your talking about the side glass, and i think you are, thats tempered glass and cannot be repaired. You might find someone who think they can make it look good but if your going to spend money for tint get a new one. It's very rare temped glass gets chipped because it usually shatters instantly when it gets hit on edge. Consider it weak (it probably is) and get another one. New, used, whatever.
