Uncomfortable Seats
I've never liked the seats in my car. If I drive for any amount of time, I lose the feeling in my legs...time to fix this. Would the padding just be worn out, or should I look at a different fix?

Is that an easy swap? What's it going to end up costing me? I like to blow my money on "fun" stuff; seats don't seem that fun.

The cusion cound just be worn down, or the springs may be worn out also.. Take it to an upholstry shop to see how much it is.. cusions are usually around 50-100, depending on what type of seat and where you get it, im not sure about springs.

If you decide to put in 4th gen seats they are really easy to put them in. They bolt in the same way your current seats go in now.

Are your seats power or standard?......Reason why i ask is that i have an 89 Iroc with power seats and a 92 RS with standard seats that were recovered over a year ago. The seat in the Iroc kill my legs, cutting off the blood supply, no matter how low I try to get the seat, it still does not sit as low as my seat in the RS......So driving the Iroc more than I do the RS, i swapped out the seats for the time being untill I can find another decent STANDARD set out of a 3rd Gen....

They're just the normal seats, no power, no frills. And they're literally a pain in the a$$. Will I be able to tell that the springs are worn by taking them out? Will they be compressed more or just a mess of wire?

I'm less comfortable in 4th gen camaro seats than I am in my sh!tty 3rd gen seats. Maybe I've just gotten used to them over the years. On long trips I get stiff and sore, but they don't bother me on rides under an hour. When I drove my friend's 94Z, my back would hurt within 10 minutes. In his 99 SS with leather seats, it's better but I'm still not comfortable.
Now 4th gen Firebird seats are another story.
I've got stock leather seats in my GTA and they fit like a glove. Supreme seats. Very supportive, and with the articulating adjustment, the lumbar adjustment, the bolster adjustment and knee adjustment, there's no way you can't be comfortable after you get it just right. The better 4th gen firebird seats are identical to the GTA seats, sans the headrest. I picked up a pair of leather seats out of a 95 or 96 Trans Am for my IROC.
