ground efx goin bye bye...

been searchin quite a bit here, can't come up with a definate answer. got a 90 RS with all the ground efx. i'm wanting to remove all of them thus making a basic coupe body, like the berlinetta's. a 3rd gen boneyard close to me says it can't be done. says the front and rear bumper/nose covers wont fit or line up. is he right? seems to me it should as the efx merely bolt on to the body. yes, i will have holes to fill, along with other unrelated body work to do, no problemo. simply want to know if i can take the front nose and rear cover off a coupe and bolt them onto my car without issue

No problem. the only problem I can see you might have in removing the Gfx is the rocker pieces are screwed to a metal bracket that is spot welded to the rocker panel. but with a good spot weld cutter it should go smoothly.
