AUTOMETER GAUGES

Anybody swap out all there stock 92 gauges9complete cluster and replaced em with autometers.?

I was thinking of getting all PHANTOM or ULTRA LIGHT gauges.

Speedo,Tach, water, oil, fuel, volts, fuel psi, nos, psi, etc..

Put teh FUEL PSI and NOS PSI in a a-piller
DO the rest where the cluster went.

What concerns me would be how to wire it all to work right? Would I have to use the wires that goto the cluster or not.? Dont some of them goto the ECM like speedo and tach?

Thanks.

I was thinking of doing that.I was going to make a faceplate and mount it behind the factory clear plastic cover. Most custom dashes come off looking cheesey. That post on "the other board" about you was pretty funny.Did you know that Mr. Formato died last year ? That sucks he was the best tuner going.LPE used him.Anyways I have a couple of 2 5/8 phantom guages I'd be willing to part with if your interested.

hey man post those pics of the 92 dash. i have the new dash in my IROC and i wish i could put new AUTOMETERS in and i was afraid i had to remove that plastic piece. i kinda like it. it looks retro and i really hate the older gauge clusters but they are so easy to change. please if you cant post the pics email to me at JayC003@hotmail.com

I don't know how to post my pic's cause they are on a disc, so you guys just e-mail me and i'll be glad to hook you up. I'll tell you now the stock cluster was removed and i had to use the wiring diagrams in my chiltons to figure which wires in the connectors were going to match up with my guages. I'm no wiring expert but it can be figured out. Thanks for showing so much interest

nutz, no post?
Try this, go to Yahoo.com
sighn up, then there should be a spot that says, FTP space, or webspace, **MGS free
clik it, it should then have a button that says upload, upload it, then when it shows that you uploaded it, right click select properties in the little grey window, and copy where it says the "http://www."rick is the greatest".com
(of course i doubt it will say rick is the greatest)

If not,

Here are some pics of Autometer gages in my 85 Berlinetta. I would have posted them in the message but there are pretty big.
Email me if you have any questions.
