pop up headlights drivers side broke
recently my drivers side pop up headlights began to droop or get stuck halfway and not fully go all the way up unless i came out of my car and nudged it up than the motor would bring it all the way. i checked it out today and found that a piece that helpes it rise broke off im not sure where i can buy a new piece but since it attaches to the headlight im not sure if i would need to replace the whole thing i realighned the broken piece so now it does go up but im looking for a more of a perminate fix does anyone know if i could just super glue it back on or put a dap of silicon? i got pics to give u guys a better understanding cause the motor and bearing all work fine im not even sure how this piece even broke off

that part of the frame thats broken, so you need a new lid frame. They are a little different through the years, so what year car do you have? i know 85-90 are one style, 91-92 are another. I dont know it 82-84 are the same as 85-90 or not.
You need to remove the headlight assemble and take it apart. It all unbolts, its nothing crazy to do.

no, its not the bezel, i said nothing about a bezel. You need the frame for the part of the light that lifts, its a piece of cast aluminum, they ony way to get another it to get another complete headlight assembly and swap it over.
honestly, it would be easier to just buy a complete headlight assembly from the proper year and swap the body color lid. A lot easier than trying to break down the entire thing
