Window seals at speed.

Does anyone else notice that your windows get sucked out of their seals when you're traveling over 90? Mine get sucked so far out that I can almost poke a finger out of the car through the gap in the sill. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

typical camaro problem.. That's the reason camaro's are slightly more annoying when driving because of sound.. Many camaro books talk about the downside to the way the windows were made.. It's no big deal

Car: 90 IROC

The 2 gen F-bodys, and alot of other GM products have a little bracket that is under the weather striping. It hangs down below the top of the window when its closed just enough to keep the window against the weather striping. IM going to find one in a junkyard and adapt it to mine. It would be easy to install just run a self tapping screw under the weather striping to hold it on. Its rubber coated so not to scratch the glass.

I was reading a book on the GNs, and they were having problems with this. It was because this peice was broken or missing.

Thats odd that you say that about the 2nd gen. I have a 77 Firebird and it is also noisy at high speeds. I wonder if that will fix the problem on the 3rdgen.
