I installed mine, but the thing goes pretty crazy, it bounces back and fourth from stoiche, and lean rapidly. I read the instructions, and it say's it's supposed to rapidly change, but is it supposed to do it that much ?

Yep. It is functioning correctly. Swings rhythmically often. Sometimes drops off the gauge altogether.
