new lights in dash

yea, the red lights in my dash on my 90 firebird are getting kinda orange. I was wondering if i can replace those with some other kind of red bulb that is brighter. Can this be done? ALso, can i replace the bulbs in the climate controls and gear shifter? Oh, another question about headlights. has anyone seen a different setup than just one light? WOuld it be possible to put two lights in there, like the new firebirds/TA's? Thanks for all the help.

Camaroboy go to Mcewen Motorsports home page and youll see a good selection of bright colored lights for your dash. As for the headlight thing.......the most Ive seen is a guy who installed thirdgen fixed dual camaro lights in his bird, it looks awesome.

camaroboy,

Tell me how to get to my gauge lights. I have a 1986 firebird. My gauge lights all of sudden stop working. I've checked all fuses. Is there anything else I should be checking? Also, the bell that lets me know that my headlights are on also stopped working when the gauge lights quit working. Is this normal? Please help if you can.

Thanks

Jeff

First off, check all of the fuses. And take them out and look at them good. They can be blown and not look like it. To change them, you need to remove the whole guage set. It's easy, just remove the cover that has the four holes, then pull the cluster out. Behind it are the twisties that hold the bulbs.
