Anyone have the 3-spoke design? If so, how's the fit? Pics in car?

Zepher,
I just got a Grant GT wheel from my girl for Christmas. She gave me the wheel and the install kit, but i don't have that slinky looking thing that goes behind the wheel. Is that thing a necessity??

Also, am I gonna need a steering wheel puller or am I gonna be able to just yank the wheel off like my friend could with his Prelude?

The slinky looking thing comes with the install kit, if I remember correctly. It covers the adaptor that the wheel sits on.
I'd reccomend using a steering wheel puller, makes the job a cinch, you don't want to have any imprints on your forehead from the stock wheel. The pullers are less than $15 at most auto parts stores.
Hope this helps you out.
