Tired Sagging Doors How do I fix?
Well I can bearly get in and out of my these days. The doors stick/refuse to unlatch. I think the problem is my door are starting to sag or the frame is tweaked. I know other people have had this problem, and i read that there is a fix you just tighten the doors back up, how perment a fix is this? will it last me for a number of years or will the doors start sagging in a couple months? I was also considering fiberglass doors, are they made for our cars? and if they are, are they legal?
Thanks

one thing i've found that works a lot better than what most people say to do is use a rope to support the door instead of a floor jack. i used my ratchet straps, but rope would be the same. i tied it off a rafter i nthe garage and made a loop the door fit in. i could swing the door with out it falling, like it would on a jack. the ratchet strap allowed me to raise or lower it as i needed. it was so easy to change the pins it scared me the first time i did it.

hey Cory, thanks man, but I cant take credit for that article, I did not write it, I just linked to it from my site. I believe one of the moderaters of this board wrote that tech article. all im trying to do is localize all of the good information and make it easy to access from one place...but I do agree, it should be a tech article here on thirdgen.org it would be even easier to get to it from here. take care
