Clear Tailights

Does anyone know where to get them for 84 Z28?
And before some dumb@ss calls me a "*****" if your car was black you'ld really want blackouts so since my car is going to be painted white, whut'z the difference (clear lense are usually kinda white).

I have been lookin around for months. No one makes them for our cars. My friend made some for his beretta by taken out the red part. Its one of those things that look goofy but cool.

I don't even think so. Those clear taillights on a Third Gen, yuck. If ya like it, go for it though. If I ever see it I'm gonna laugh though

might want to check your local laws, a friend of mine just got a 100.00 ticket for not having red reflectors on the rear of his car. Red lights don't count. So he got rid of his old clear lenses 110.00 and bought some new 230.00 that have a red reflector in them. Why not save the money and spend it on a mod that really makes a difference! Not a flame just a thought.

I have to admit, I had clear tails on my '99 Ranger which was white and it looked really good, but I got harrassed by local police. The new clears with colored pieces are the way to go, but like you said, no one makes them for our cars. Someone did have a post about making clear markers for upfront... one step in the right direction. Take a look around...

I like the stock light setup on the thirdgens, but the one thing i don't care for are the front fender turning lights. they are yellow. whee, they clash with every paintjob i have ever seen.

i think if they made these in clear, it would really look slick for a white car!

I'm so sick of cops. Why the hell would they worry about not having red reflectors in taillights? They just look for things to be illegal and they know damn well it's not hurting anyone. Not that I would ever put rice-burner lights on my car, just pisses me off to hear the d@mn pigs found another thing to hand out tickets for. They need to worry about getting heroin off the streets, not handing out tickets for no front plate because they're jealous they don't have a sports car. all pigs...die!!!

hhehe, woah yellow, woah!

I totally agree with you, but still, i always bitch and rand when a cop drives by, but i have only had one bad exp. with cops, and i really was at fault. (going 78 in a 55 zone, and accelerating while the cop radar-ed me).

But mostly, as lame as they can be, if you act cool, they are normally cool back. ive been pulled over for various things, but have always gotten "away" with whatever i was doing, with just a warning.

hehe, that time i did get a ticket, the cop had a new mustang. i thought about taking it to court, and telling everyone it was because he had a mustang.

or better yet, i should have just said, as he walked up to my window. (oh, you drive a mustang. you are lucky i pulled over, otherwise you wouldn't have caught me)

hehe fun to think about, stupid to say! haha

I once wanted clear taillights, but now I think I'm gonna tint them with some spray tint instead. Same goes for the front and side markers.

As for the front side markers Christos was talking about, I painted mine black with a can of that ?nightshade? I couldn't stand those yellow-orangy lights, especially since my car is all black and white ,except for the red bow tie on the grille, of course! I've got a pic of it up on my webpage if anyone wants to see what it looks like.

I aint worried about the cops anyways, the state patrol couldn't catch up to my near stock 305 so some of you guys really shouldn't have a problem. That's all they saw were the tailights. Now I guess I want 'em to see some cooler ones.
