Roll-up cargo cover install

Hi, i just got one for $20 at a local yard along with the mounting brackets, I was wondering if anything else needs to be done aside from cutting the holes in the interior trim for the mounting hardware and screwing it in? That is, is the piece of metal it screws into in all Camaro's so I won't be putting a hole into the side of my car and wasting my time by even trying to install this? Thanks in advance!

Check the body before you cut holes. Not all cars have the metal brackets. The cover is spring loaded so it'll hold the mounts in by itself but its kinda rickety.
