Replacing T-tops help
Hey all im thinking about buying a 1984 trans am, however its missing a T-top. i have access to a used pair for $100, can anyone tell me how hard it is to replace these, so i know what im getting into before i go thru with the purchase.

All they do is unlatch and lift off. No real secret about it.

where are you located, I have like 5 sets of tops. I'd let go of a set to you for cheaper than that.

Just measure to make sure, there were 2 different kinds. They are on past posts.

Make sure you get inquire about a KEY with the tops you're buying...otherwise you won't be able to lock them. Chances are the keys are long gone if the car's parted out though, and the fact that your t-top is missing entirely means you won't be able to swap your lock cylinders over (at least for the one it's missing).
