Re: Has Anyone Ever Modified The Park Lights?
I've seen countless pictures of thirdgens with clear parking lights/signals etc. Just search around and you'll fine some. As for LED lighting? I've seen a thread where a guy converted all of the lights (or at least the taillights from what I remember) in his IROC-Z to LEDs... looked really cool as well as this LED tailight conversion floating around for Firebird taillights. Like I said, just search and you should find it easily.

For converting the lens to clear, I'm guessing you already checked Ebay? I got my Camaro corner clears from there.
As for LEDs, there are 2 options. You can do the plug/play with something from Superbrights. Or you can do an all out retro.
Plug/Play= easy to do, but lightout put is not going to be all that great.
Retro = much more difficult to do, but light output will be much better.
On my Camaro, I opened the housings up, and made my own boards and epoxied them into place. I think I have about 20 or so superflux style amber LEDs in each lens. Looks good, but I'm going to have to mess with them this summer. I didn't seal them up all the way, and they are fogging inside.
I also retro'd my rear tail lights, same process. Open them up, and made my own boards with superflux LEDs. I did everything, tail/brake, turn and reverse. These I'm very happy with and they are very unique. I doubt I'll ever see anyone else around where I live with them. They have the instant on look, and the reverse lights are so bright compared to the dim ones that come factory.
