Frozen side windows

I recently bought an 88 for a winter beater. (The heater on my Harley sucks!).

I had a 72, way back when. I forgot what I used to put on the window seals to keep the glass from freezing to them. Does anybody have a cure.

I would hate like hell to rip off a door handle, or worse break a window.

I got lucky with this car. It has very little rust and only 80K on it. Runs like a top. It may end up being a project car. The only drawback is, that it is white...YUK!

Thanks, Tom

Re: Frozen side windows

Johnny,

Thanks for your help! Yep, color is easy enough to change. I guess my favorite color for about anything, black, will go with the red interior just fine.

I have been a heavy truck mechanic for 35 years, but the last car I had, that I would even consider hot-rodding had carbs and points....I guess I have some catching up to do!
