upper door pins ,,anyone tried this?
hi,,,i opened the driver's door all the way,,,removed the weatherstrip and supported the door with a jack and strapped the door with a strap hooked up to the ceiling,,,cut off the large parts of the upper pins ,,punched out the old pins once cut/grinded off,,,unbolted the hinge from the body ...installed the bushings ,,slid the hinge back on,,bolted it back to the body ,,,then bolted the bushings/pins,,,anyone ever try this?

I replaced the lower hinge yesterday and despite the upper hinge being a bit loose, it did the job. After looking closer at the top hinge, I wouldn't want to attack it. LOL
