windshield weather stripping
how easy is this to replace....shop just wants 60.00 to do it.

Moulding will cost you at least 20 bucks and 10 for the glue. I'd have a new glass installed also. I believe mine was around 150 or so, installed. Probably a little cheaper down here in the south.

don't need glass....just scuffed the molding with sand paper and need to replace that....does the molding just push into place...it looks like it does

Yes it does but sometimes the w/shield will break trying to remove all of the molding. It sits pretty deep in the channel and is glued with urethane. Depending on the age and amount of urethane, could be tough. I've seen the glass guru's trim the moulding so it doesn't sit as deep when all of the old one couldn't be removed.
