If keeping the car original isn't an important thing to you or just thast you like the looks of the 4th gen wings, find you a 93-97 TA (98-02 appear to be the sane but are not) wrap-around wing. I paid $85 years ago for my & my buddy paid $100 for his the year before. Probably even cheaper by now.

Re: Trans AM wrap around wing
^^ Hes right, Its much cheaper then the original rubber one, so $300 is not bad IMO. Just keep in mind no matter where you get it you will be fitting it to the car. So get to know someone or learn quick how to manipulate fiberglass.
My wing had to be cut in half and made longer by almost 5/8". This task was not easy, And I'm currently in the middle of refinishing it due to shrinkage from the resin i used the first time. Another bit of advice, Use West System epoxy for any modifications you do. They make a bunch of additives that make the job easy. Its also strong, wont shrink, and easy to work with.

You can buy an aftermarket 4thy gen one built to fit a 3rd gen, but it is higher than the $300, so not exactly any savings there, just easier to put on. I forgot to mention that putting a 4th gen one on requires welding the 3rd gen holes shut, drilling new ones & repainting of the deck.

Re: Trans AM wrap around wing
It was a 3rd gen aero wing. It was a hawlk wing that fit so poorly from the start it amazes me that most ppl can get these to look normal. The wing was so short width Wise that there was no way to bolt it down. I had to widen the wing just to get it to bolt down and meet the edges of the deck lid like the factory. I wish I would have taken pictures at the time but with the p/s bolted down was flush with the deck lid the d/s was almost 1/2" off. It looked like crap.
As for the wing sides they fell right into place after widening. When I called Hawk they said if I payed the freight to ship it back ($170 that I payed for the first one) they would send me a new one. Would have cost more then a factory and still would have needed work!
