91 Z-28 convertible restoration
Well I pulled her out of storage after like 6 years, pulled the motor and tranny and powerwashed the entire engine bay and car. I will start the body next week, new floors and small rust spots on the body and firewall. I pulled the interior out except the drivers seat for now, took my seat brackets and slides off so that I could wire brush them down and re-paint. Spent 6 hours polishing the Paxton SC and aluminum intake tubing, started with #3 up to #5 metal compound, then jewlers rouge, it is over 10 years old so it needed a good polishing.

Some starting picks, the firewall rust, and the motor before the upgrades. Motor is going to Vortech Aluminum heads 210 -58CC straight plug - Aluminum roller rockers 1.6 - either TPIS Mini-Ram or the Holley Steath-Ram, have not decided yet. Custom ground cam, all new bearings and closed gap rings, Paxton SC. hoping for 400HP, we will see, once she is done it goes to Orange Park FL for the dyno custom tune. I am actually bringing her back from the dead, she sat alone in the dark in storage for the past 6 years.
