Nothing but bad luck...
Let me just start this post off my saying yes i know the body damage on my car isn't bad at all. Its just the fact that every time i replace something, something else goes wrong. Well today i woke up to what sounded like a car accident and right away i thought someone drove into my truck. So i ran outside and saw what actually happened...my aunt drove her harley right into the front my '85 iroc. My aunt was fine, her bike was fine, but my car got hit pretty good. Now i know everything is replaceable, but my cars been registered for not even 2 days. And the paint on the front valance is not even a month old, the camaro grill on my car was perfect, and the front bumper cover was also replaced/repainted last summer after someone in a lifted truck drove right into me in a parking lot. On top of all that it looks like someone threw a rock at my fender while I was away at school. I dont know about anyone else but lately with my car, if i didnt have bad luck id have no luck at all. I'll have some pictures up later today

Re: Nothing but bad luck...
haha well i would have some pictures up by now but i slipped in my driveway and dropped my camaro right on the lens, im convinced i have bad luck. Well anyway i talked it over with my aunt and looks like im getting a new cowl hood, bumper cover, valance, and fender. to top it off, she felt so bad that she started calling body shops in my area to get some estimates on new paint. Maybe my car getting hit might have been a good thing.

I wish somebody would feel bad for me...haha you dropped your CAMARO on the lens? I know what you meant. I wish you lots of luck with your camaro. We could all use a little help with our projects.

Re: Nothing but bad luck...
I know how you feel. I just pulled my Camaro out of my garage after the winter "upgrade season" 3 weeks ago to find out that I can't seem to find ebrake cables that fit the new rear, the 4thgen rear is offest to the passenger's side, and I installed the parking brake return spring wrong on one of the calipers.
I've spent the last 2 weeks alternately tuning my carb and waiting for parts to come to tune the carb. I finally get my power valve after waiting almost a week for it, put it in and the engine that has run beautifully since the rebuild 2 years ago starts knocking. Now instead of looking forward to enjoying the car this summer, I gotta tear it all apart again.
