TA Front Hood Vent Removal
Before I break something, can someone tell me how the front hood vents on our TA hoods are held on? I want to remove them to freshen their paint but can't be sure how they are held in place.
I can see the 2 speed nuts on the bottom side of the hood through the access holes (I know one hole is smaller than the other but I can get around that). If I take the nuts off are there any other hidden fasteners I need to be aware of or techniques to use?
Thanks for any help you can offer. I did find some info doing searches in this and other forums but they did not answer my question.

Thanks. Now I just have to be gentle and not break off the 20 year old plastic studs!
