Bumper fabrication question
So I have a 1990 Trans Am donor car for my '86 Trans Am. I've pretty much stripped everything off of it that I can think of. I was looking at the front bumper, and started to think. The only reason I don't like the nose of the '90's is because there's no cut out for the headlights and turn signals. Those notches are part of the reason I fell in love with the car in the first place, way back in the early '80s when that body style debuted. It dawned on me that I have a bumper off an '83 sitting in my garage as well. Now my question: how hard would it be to cut out those notches from the older bumper, and somehow fit them into the newer one? Would it just be a matter of using a sharp box cutter and body filler? Or would there be more to it that that?

Re: Bumper fabrication question
I imagine it could be done with some epoxy or something like it. You wouldn't have to worry about the space behind it either. I'm curious as to how it would look. Maybe somebody could do a photoshop?
