89 Firebird with 91 front bumper? possible?
Is it possible to swap out the front bumpers?
or what modifications are needed?
What about the sideskirts?
Thanks for the info.

Sure, but you'll need the full headlights too. Not sure if the later bumper supports are any smaller/differently shaped, because of the bumper cover. But yeah...It CAN be done, with enough parts swapped over.

You can mount 1991-92 ground effects to your doors, fenders, and quarter panels, but you will need to drill new holes for them as they are mounted differently than the 1987-90 ground effects.
Might want to get a 1991-92 T/A or base model W68 rear bumper as well as it would look pretty stupid to have all the ground effects on the car except for the rear bumper.

Re: 89 Firebird with 91 front bumper? possible?
My car is the other way around, a 91' with 89' front clip. It works either way but the headlights are the issue, and the turn signals will need to be replaced since on the banshee nose they are in the bumper, and in the 89' they are next to the headlight bezels. I'm not sure if the supports are the same either. If you do want to do the swap, I would recommend not going with the gfx since the front fender 91-92 gfx are not easy to find and are quite expensive when you do, unless you already have the doner car and all the parts. Personally I think they are ugly, the banshee bumpers are nice, but the gfx are too bulky looking in my opinion.

Do you have all the pieces? I just removed the gfx and gfx bumpers from my 92. I don't have the front fender pieces but I have everything else. Let me know if you need any parts

Re: 89 Firebird with 91 front bumper? possible?
I took the front bumper and cover with marker lights, rear bumper and cover, taillights, and one headlamp off my 92 Firebird. All in good used condition, no rust. I am in St Louis area, make me an offer. I bolted 85 TA parts on with no problems including doors. I had to use the headlamp motors from my 92, they had 2 wires and the 85 had 3 wires. I also had to drill holes in my quarters for the gfx, my 92 stuff does not have gfx. Turn signal wires had to be rerouted but not cut, no big deal.
