Fixing damage on a 91-92 whale tail spoiler...

I bought a spoiler for my 91 Formula a few weeks ago and it needs a bit of repair (and paint) before I can use it. When it was pulled off the donor car, apparently the guy didn't know that you slide it back to remove the wrap around tabs from the wing and cracked one of 'em.

Its not broken (ie, shattered), but its cracked and the outer plastic skin has separated from the inner/underside of the wing around one of the tabs. I bought some of the Quiksteel Plastic epoxy to fill the 1/16" crack and hopefully bond the two parts back together.

Has anyone else used this?

If there are better suggestions, I'm all ears... Here's a pic of the crack:

Thanks

I used the epoxy on the spoiler last night and left it to harden over night - It appears to have worked very well. I do have to sand it smooth, but the little bit that I was able to squeeze between the cracks is really holding strong. Hopefully it continues to do so.
