Installation of Rocker Panels and Rear Quarters?
Alright guys, so my camaro is a IROC convert from a Sport Coupe. Its going to be out of paint by the weekend, so starting assembly of the iroc body parts to the car. The front bumper, lip and rear bumper are simple. They are just going right on the original brackets.
But the rocker panels...since this car has never had them, what all is required to attaching them. Obviously some hole drilling. I have all the parts, there is a long brace that goes under the lip of the car, which holds the rocker panels. How does that attach to the car? Just bolts and holes?
Just thought if there are any tips or suggestions please shout out.

I believe the rocker panel trim is welded on from the factory on models that came with the ground effects. If you just had your car painted you probably won't want to do that..
The easiest way would be to use self tapping bolts. If you want to get fancy, you could drill holes and use rivnuts / nutserts / whatever you like to call them.

Correct, and i have thats trim panel, so i could either weld them to the body, or use self-tapping screws on it, then use bolts to attach the panels to the trim like factory.
Self tapping screws was the first thing that came to mind.
