Had a helluva time putting the glass back on the top, really
tight.Is that normal?man they are tight.Well it's raining pretty
good here in jersey and went out and sat in the car and wallah
NO LEAKS.

you can adjust the receivers where the t-tops pins go, move them up a little and things would be better. But keep in mind the seals will shrink and conform the tops and car a little so even if tey are tight now they will settle a bit, so many just give htem a little time and see hwat happens.

Thanks,I'll leave the alone for the winter and see what happens.
Went out and checked again about 11 AM and still no leaks.
you know what they say " If it ain't Brock, Leave it alone"

things will be a little tight when they're first installed, but everything should settle in and mold in place and give you a good seal. but definitely let me know if you have any problems!

So It's okay for them being so tight?,I'm the original owner and they were never that tight.I was thinking of putting some lube on the rubber at the T bar.

Re: T Top Installed 86 TA
Someone on eBay lists the 8 piece kit for t-top cars for $230 shipped, buy it now. Definitely the route I'm going, I can't justify spending $800 on weatherstripping for a car I paid $400 for.
