GFX missing front metal???
Didn't see this in search.
Front ground effects on an 89 RS, took a look underneath because the tip of the nose droops. I saw a couple brackets for a piece that appears to hold the lip steady. at 60-70MPH the lip on the front wobbles quite a bit.
I'm looking for someone that either knows what its called or has an extra in the Tampa area.
I've been to a couple junkyards and they are all pulled off, if the car even has the front bumper.
Any help is great

Mine also had those four metal tabs across the bottom but I've never seen anything attached there on any car. Honda uses a large weight in the bottom of their front bumpers to keep them from pushing up at speed I guess. That's the only purpose we could think of for their use. Mine isn't sagging yet.
Check the lower part of the upper bumper where it attaches to the bumper reinforcement. It should have a piece of the cover that goes back to the rebar and attaches with large bumper plastic rivets. There are two of them, one on each side just to the inside of the park lights I believe. If they're not there that could be part of your problem.

everything is still attached to the gfx.
Anyone else ever seen what attaches to those tabs?

I'm not sure we are thinking of the same thing, but under the center of my front spoiler there is another plastic piece bolted on; It's an odd looking piece, the best way I can describe it is that the leading edge that bolts to the front chin spoiler has "toes" (in other words it doesn't have one plain leading edge, it's almost like the leading edge is notched so it looks like many parts if you only could see the leading edge, which you kind of can standing in front of the car) and then right behind the chin spoiler it curves up and attaches elsewhere behind the bumper.
Is this what you are talking about?
EDIT: Added diagram of the part I'm talking about, this view is the chin spoiler from underneath the car.

Could you possibly get a picture of it? cause I may be able to fab the piece that goes there, but i was trying to see if i could get a pic of the part that goes there, so i know what to look for in junkyards.
