DO a search. I have personally replied to a couple posts in the last couple weeks regarding this topic.

Re: Ground FX swap???

i did, the front spoiler is longer on the ends by a good 3-4" on both sides. the side skirts dont fit well either.

You have to do some cutting up and reinforcement. also in your mounting areas are different. If you dont do any body work i wouldnt recommend it. Also they are hard to come by. The people that do have them usually dont want to get rid of them.

Aftermarket is trash and overpriced.

Re: Ground FX swap???

I did it to my old 84 Z.....wasnt hard, just have to use your imagination a little

You'll have the change out the front and rear bumpers, drills some misc. holes for the side ground effect pieces. I'm sure you can find out all kinds of information with a search.

You know this is what I have always heard but in the last month or so I have seen 3 different sets of 91-92 ground effects for $150 on craigslist. So at least in my area they're not all that hard to find but is this a good price? Should I be snatching them up? I don't need them but I found this kind of strange.

Re: Ground FX swap???

If you found some for 150 i would be all over that in a second. I paid $300 for mine for only the front and sides ( rear is the same on the bumper, 2 pieces were it meet the quater panels are a little different, and flow into the stock skirt on the rear bumper the same.

I wouldnt change around all of the bumpers, that would be expensive. Just have to cut off the ends on the front spoiler a good 3 in or so on each side ( you'll see the amount when you first mount it on to see just how much) you may have to take off your front wheels to do so.

Use a good plastic urethane weld such as Fuzor or Duramix with some fiberglass mat ( not the shredded type)
on the back side to reinforce the flat end pieces of the front spoiler.

The mounting of your side skirts is different an you will need to be smart about where to drill your holes.

Re: Ground FX swap???

150? buy it!!! its so easy i changed my whole gfx rear and front bumpers. 82-84 bumpers are so ugly in my opinion.

Re: Ground FX swap???

That post really messed up. Anyhow thanks for that info dtk. I didn't know that and hadn't heard of anyone doing it. May have to do that to mine, spoiler is getting brittle. Got any pics? How did the front fit?

You probably know that they do make a plastic may for flexible parts. Glass will work but that plastic won't make you itch. LOL
