No. You may need adapters to mate the 60* v6 tranny to the 90* 327 block- or get a 5 speed from a S10 with a 4.3.

its easier to just forget using the v6 t5, it would be crap behind a v8 anyway. You need to pickup a t5 setup from a v8 car.

If you do that it will mate up perfectly, the T-5 behind my old 305 didn't have any problems mating up to my 327

Your best bet is a 93-97 t56 they are strong but pricey but if you do some hunting you can find them for under $1000.

Or you can get a v8 t5, they are not very strong though and I've heard they are pretty expensive to beef them up. But on the other hand they are pretty reasonable, I would think you could probably find one for a couple hundred dollars. Also keep in mind if you go this route to obviously get one from a v8 and there are 2 different kinds world class and non world class with the world class being the stronger version. So I guess it just depends on how powerful your 327 is. There's obviously other transmission options but these 2 are the most practical since they are the same length as the original transmission and the t5 will bolt right in but the t56 will need a modified crossmember.
