I want to paint my car bright green - factory options?

As the title states, I would like my 1991 Z28 to be bright green. Like florescent day glow neon green. I've been doing some research and I found that in 1970 and 1971 you could get a pretty awesome color on Mopars. The color was called "Sassy Grass" on the Plymouths and "Green Go" on the Dodges.

Did any other car manufactures ever offer a similar color? I know I could go an mix and match and make whatever color I want, but I kind of like the idea of having an actual name and story behind the paint.

Thanks

Here is the car now.

Re: I want to paint my car bright green - factory options?

I always thought that was called Sublime Green.....Still Mopar, but maybe it was an earlier color that had that name?

I wouldn't mind that either, but what about under the hood? Short of pulling the engine & all the extra pieces (steering box/brake booster/interior fan/etc.) doing the engine bay is a major undertaking. You want a green car & a red engine bay?

Let me be the first, and please don't take offense - PLEASE DON'T PAINT IT THAT COLOR!

Seems that the 3rdgens can't pull off the wild colors as well as other cars. They always look a little funny when they're painted something super bright.

Sublime (Dodge name) and Lime Light (Plymouth name) was offered in 1970 and was very similar but definitely a little lighter

Engine bay will be black. 170K mile L98 is coming out and fresh 383 going in.

I will prove you wrong My first project car ever was a 1986 IROC that someone had painted lime green in the early 90's. I had many years of good times working on that car and I should have never sold it. So I'm making a new one! :P

I'd go with the Synergy Green myself. I think that would be way better than the Sassy Grass IMO

i beg to differ, these Thirdgen's look amazing in >>>ALMOST<<< any color you can throw at it Wild colors and Metallic colors especially, just as long as you stick to classic striping if you want to do Racing stripes or Two tone's, there were third gen Drag cars(that appear stock body wise, but had the Giant slicks and gutted interior's) i use to Die over a couple seasons ago, one was a burnt Orange Metallic(i love that color on these cars, and i believe Orange was a factory color for a short time) and the other was a Bright Green Metallic, Both car's were amazing and CLEAN just the solid colors, no stickers or stripes, both with cowl hoods

they were very sharp

oh and i would also vote Synergy Green, Pictures never do that color justice until you see a Synergy Green 5th gen on a dealer lot and your jaw drops because the color is that awesome
