89 Firebird/Camaro Conversion, Help?
I have an 89 Firebird. I want to convert the front end to the camaro lights/hood/bumper/and ground effects. Im wondering what year camaro is compatable with my Bird. . . And will it be a straight up bolt on, or will it be alot of body work, welding, etc? I need a Veterain 3rd Gen Expert!

you can use any year. but depending on what ground effects u want might help out. the ones with the ground effects have the holes already drilled. no big deal. but they are all compatible. it wont take too much work either.just get all the parts off the camaro. all brackets, screws, everything.

But if you want to save yourself some time and possible some money just go out and buy a camaro. If you are just converting the front end dont do it either because I have seen a firebird with the Camaro frontend and it just looked awful. So please just buy a camaro.

There are other threads on here w/ pics. The wheel well is slightly different shape and you must replace fenders, hood and all. The complete front clip probably including the radiator support.
