how to repair a front bumper on 83 TRANS AM

Car: 83 T.A L69 T5 WS6
Engine: L69 5.0 H.O
Transmission: T5 5 SPEED
Axle/Gears: 3.73 POSI TRAC
how to repair a front bumper on 83 TRANS AM
yes i have an 83 trans am and the front bumper has a tennis ball size dent on the bend on the passenger side where the bumper wraps around how can a guy pop or pull that out without messing it up somebody told me to heat it up first with a heat gun but i don't want to take chances. any info would be great

If you arent wanting to repaint it then it will have a small dent still. Use the heat gun and heat up the outside edges of the dent, then with your hand as you're still heating it just push it out. I recommend sanding it all down after your done and repainting it. If the dent is still significant after you have used the heat gun then you will have to resolve to 3M flexible parts repair to fill it in
