Windshield Wiper Not Wiping?
Ok, so I just replaced my windshield wipers cause I thought they were bad but the driver side is still giving me problems. The wiper blade is barely touching the glass (really only touching in one small spot) and it's not wiping anything off. What's up with this?

Re: Windshield Wiper Not Wiping?
The arm was just bent, I bent it back but I'm buying new ones just to be sure (ok and mine are rusty). Now that I think about it I probably bent it when I was clearing snow from under them
Thanks

I'm having the same exact problem it's the drivers side it wipes as if it has a bad wiper. The wipers are new , the passenger side wipes nicely I checked the spring , looks good to me . Now when you bent the arm you bent it inward towards the glass correct?

Make sure that the wiper arm base is pushed all the way down on the splined post.

Re: Windshield Wiper Not Wiping?
Its the round thing that sticks out of the cowl that the base of the wiper blade arm is pushed onto. Sometime the arm slides up and doesn't apply the pressure to the arm which then doesn't apply pressure to the blade so it doesn't wipe like it should. Easy check, just push down on the base at the cowl. I've had that problem on mine in the past.
