Factory tar paper?

I was pulling my vert apart and I keep coming across a lot of thick tar like paper. I seems to be there to keep rattles away. What after market product could I use to replace what I had to remove?

anykind of selfadhesive sound proofing material like dynamat or similar. you can get it from summit, jegs, or most auto supply stores, napa, autozone, or whatever the chains are around you

Re: Factory tar paper?

I used Raammat and the ensolite mat on my Scion when I soundproofed it and plan to use it on my Maro when I go through it's interior. The stuff is cheap and is very easy to work with. http://www.raamaudio.com/
