I just purchased an 84 z28. I wanted a 85-90 iroc. Authenticity is not an issue so I guess I will make a clone. My question is are all the mounting points the same on the 84's ground effects as the newer iroc's? Are all the bolt holes the same or do I need to modify?

being a bird guy, not for sure, but i am guessing they should be the same, and if not, should be very easy to mount up making some cheap brackets. the cars basic design never changed over the years, so there shouldnt be any issues I think on updating to the newer iroc style. I am not 100 % on that, but at the very least shouldnt be too hard to upgrade no matter what mounting points they have.

thanks stormr. I can't imagine them being too much different. But just wanted to be sure.

From personal experience I had to drill different holes in my TA fender to accomodate my ground FX. So I would say there is a slight chance they are the same. Highly likely there is difference in the packages for different class/model of the vehicle.
I would not hold my breath on a direct fit.
