Camaro GT fenders??
I was digging around trying to find new fenders for my maro. I saw this and was like, "What the heck is a maro GT?" Has anyone seen these fenders before? Do you have pics? Where can I buy?

Please....Do a here on TGO before you post & ask ANYTHING. This site is about 15 yrs old. Lots of answers here.....
Not too long ago, not only was there a thread about those EXACT SAME fenders, but the person bought some.....I didn't read the thread any after that, so I have no clue how it came out, but a will tell you.

they look nice. but i'm more of the bone stock kinda guy when it comes to exterior. They look good out of the factory why change more than the paint.

like a butchered camaro, IMO mild is the key with our cars, maybe a different hood, but personally i wouldnt mess with the rear quarters or the fenders even, stock seems best for us lol id hate to go thru the trouble to get "gt" rear quarters in and not like them, plus youre going from metal to a duraflex material. personally i like driving a tank lol wouldnt want it covered in plastics now would you?

Re: Camaro GT fenders??
fiberglass and duraflex are 2 different worlds, duraflex is similar to our front nose covers, flimsy yet durable for styling, but not too great in an impact, not that fiberglass is that much better but its got better hold to it than the poly make up of the duraflex.
Prime example; i had a girl pull out in front of me when i was doing about 35-40 mph, i locked up my brakes and hit her in the side with my front left corner of the car, her car was totaled out on the spot, mine however had a rippled fender (metal) but my front clip was destroyed and torn (poly) had i not had my metal fenders my car would have pretty much crumpled on impact and probably jacked up my whole k memer, and frame and everything in between. its a nice concept but theyd be better off made of of something more, for lack of a better word; durable.
our cars have a pretty good structural integrity to them, id rather not toy with that lol but to each his own i suppose and i can only see these fenders if they fit with a theme, like a nicely matched hood, 91-92 gfx etc dont just slap "gt" fenders on an otherwise stock camaro and call it a day ya know?
