Just Crashed my Firebird need help finding parts

I recently crashed my 1990 firebird. The drivers side fender, bumper, hood, windshield and the metal connecting the bumper to the radiator mounts are destroyed. i dont know what that metal is called. its the metal you see when you open your hood that has the diagram for how your belts go on. can someone tell me what that part is?

im looking for a front clip or parts car locally. I know that 82-92 fenders will mount(82-84 is considered different b/c of the vents i think). im not sure of the bumper cover and honeycomb though. i know that the outside design from 82-84, 85-90 and 91-92 is different but im not sure if the mounts and bolts are different.

Iam not at all sure about the metal under the hood as to which years to look for?

basically i want to find a parts car for cheap(b/c front clips are usually pricy) but i need to know my year restrictions.

I will try to get some pictures to show the damage and see if any of you have any suggestions?

i really want to restore the car b/c its a 305 5 speed and 5 speeds are rare around here and it herts to see a 3rdgen get thrown away("cash for clunkers" did enough damage)

if anyone has a front clip or parts car in the Albany, ny area let me know.

thanks
tim

I'm in the albany area and trying to get rid of a rolling chassis. Your car doesn't have the T/A body package does it? I have a formula with a functional formula hood, only issue with the whole car is a little dent in the driver rear quarter panel and a dent in the passenger fender. Car was a 5 speed. In the next week or so i'm pulling motor, 5 speed tranny, steering column, and seats. Willing to get rid of cheap if interested. If you want just the hood , bumper support and cushioning, filler panel, windshield, and fender if you do have a t/a body kit, then you're welcome to it. All you need to do to the fenders is drill three holes for the body kit side skirt on the front and 2 holes in the back for the rocker panel skirts. I ended up doing that with my firebird turned T/A, and it came out nicely. The front clip of this car will work on yours, but you will need to find a T/A bumper, that's all. Let me know if you want the body, or if you want to buy the front clip if you don't have towing capabilities.

As far as year break downs, 85-92 fenders will work. If you're talking trans am fenders, then your looking for 85-90. Firebird and t/a bumpers were 85-90, firebird and t/a hoods were 85-92, windshields were 82-92, the bumper reinforcement and cushioning under front bumper was the same between firebird and trans am, and that was 85-90 as well.

And that panel that your looking for it's name is called a filler panel. It holds the latch and fills in the area that the bumper doesn't once the hood is open.

Before you start putting parts on, or trying to.....I'd suggest having the chassis (frame) checked for straightness first.
