Removing body parts?
Hi there. No i'm not talkin about legs and arms haha. Anyways I've found a nice '82 camaro that i have already gotten a lot of good parts off of and i am having a hard time getting the front bumper cover, fenders, and doors off. Unfortunately i dont have a manual yet. I would sure appreciate it if anybody can tell me the best way to take these parts off. It wont stop raining and i'd rather have a good game plan before i go back out there. Thanks.

Do a search. You might find a step by step on how do do that. Its not that hard. I took the front bumper cover and driver's front fender off. The bumper cover does attach to the fenders. If you have a basic understanding you can easily do it. Maybe if you can get underneath you can see how its all bolted together.

Re: Removing body parts?
front bumper has 4 or 5 bolts holding it to the front of the fender. you need a deep well 10mm socket a 6 inch extension a 1 inch extension and a swivel joint, and a 10mm wrench just in case. it also has plastic push in lock things on the under side. and then the plastic piece by the hood latch comes off and there 4 bolts on both sides that hold the piece that holds the lights on. also be sure to remove ground effects from the fender. and the top bold holding the bumper to the fender is the hardest to get to.
the fender has 8 ish bolts along the top where the hood sits. some of them also being bolts that hold the hood on. i had some screws behind the z28 emblem on my car and then there was one last bolt under the car that was rusted and ended up snapping.
dont know about doors. hope this helped a little.

Re: Removing body parts?
no problem. it took me 3 1-hour trips to get my first bumper off. then the next time i took one off it only took me a hour and a half.
