my first camaro :)
so this friday i got my first camaro finally!! didnt think itd happen this soon. my mom had two and i guess it just runs in the family. its just sad she couldnt keep it when i was born (id kick the seat and annoy the crap out of people). now shes not perfect but i deff plan on using my auto body skills and bring her back to life. tell me what you think. and throw any ideas if you want. im always trying to be creative and think of something new :]
shes a 1989 Camaro RS with 106,000 original miles on the engine and 5,000 on a new tranny. Shes a 2.8 V6 automatic (probably going to keep her that way for awhile)
as soon as spring comes around im deff going to get her painted first thing on my list. going to keep her red just dont know what shade i really want to go with first.

Re: my first camaro :)
nice job and congrats on finally getting a thirdgen. I shopped for over 4 months till i found a car in my price range that was not just a rust bucket. Just like you i need a paint job but man, are those things expensive. Good luck with cleaning it up and remember modding is like smoking, once you start its hard to stop

Thanks.
Yeahh paint jobs are deff exspensive. At least the good ones. But once this new england winter is over I'm goon to ether paint it myself or go to my highschool I graduated from last year and see if they'll do it. I'm good friends with my teacher still. Worse comes to worse I'll have maaco do it and I'll just go over the car and wetsand and buff all there mistakes out. And yeah deff can't stop. I have to do my own touch to every car I own. My 96 Monte Carlo is done to my liking and I even had to spice up my first car which was my grandmothers 97 tracer. Just can't do stock lol
