Cleaning up under carriage
Wanting to clean up the underbody is there anything I should take off before sandblasting. Not worried about the exhaust it is getting replaced any way. Will the break lines and such hold up if they are not rusted?

Re: Cleaning up under carriage
the thought of sandblasting ? forget about it . too many things to protect , low pressure steam/power washer would be best . break ? lines might be o.k. , brake lines would not . clean the underside , then inspect all you can see . best choice would be to have it on a lift to do this . good luck .

Re: Cleaning up under carriage
All I did was when i swapped out my tranny i took a wire wheel to the underside to clean of the undercoating(not much rust under mine). And then i spayed it with black Rustoleum paint. looks BTW did this while the cars was on cement blocks so a lift if you have acess to one makes life a lot easier.
