too much rust????

too much rust????

I recently purchased a 1987 camaro rs with the 2.8.... and the firewall has some rust holes in it is there any thing i can do to fix that.... any thoughts will be helpful thanks

thats exactly what you would be doing. Cutting out the rust and welding in a patch.

theres just a couple golf ball sized holes on the firewall and there scattered there not bunched up in one area.... i dont think its very sturdy
