t top leaks toward rear
I have been getting a leak from my t top iroc. It seems to be coming in the rear area. I would like to seal it right. I get water in my back seat after a rain. When my headliner was taken down and reapholstered, I confirmed it was coming from the rear t top area. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: t top leaks toward rear
i have a small leak from the rear on the drivers side and the front of the passenger side.
what im thinking of doing is getting some black silicone and building it up along the edge of the gasket so that when i put the t-top on it seals better.

When we got ours,we needed ALL new stripping. After paint the new stripping was put in.( At the time I didn't know about TGO.)
Anyway, the T's leaked. So, little by little I adjusted each pin guide.
It took quite a while but FINALY no leaks!
Thru the process,I found out most of the water was from the pass side rear.
The guide on the rear pass side is ALMOST at the tightest limit.
I would think about looking @ the seal areas & under the "T" bar for rust-out.If you do that,be EXTREMELY CAREFUL not to bend any of the metal pieces!
If you just want to try to stop//slow the leaks for the meantime & want to tighten the pin guides, also do this with care.
(edit) Toxic is right-check for rust when you get the time to.

Man that's a pretty big rot hole that formed. Remember to keep the pine needles and other debris out from between things like, your cowl, weatherstrip, hatch area. That stuff collects moisture and just rots stuff out.
Here's a link to our weatherstrip section if you guys need anything.

You will never know till you open it up and take a look. Also if your got water leaking from the t-tops. you should check your floor bords, inside the b-pillars, seat track bolts ect cuz the water has to go somewhere.

I gave the underneath, and the rest of the car a good looking over, and I found no real rust problems. I think the water evaporated from the back seat. The leak seemed to come from the center since that's where the water pooled up. I had the headliner off, and I didn't see anything from the inside.
