Stubborn paint removal.

I gotta 4 1/2" angle grinder to help me get the paint off a hood. Tried the chemical approach to no avail. The wire brush on the grinder did a little, but it does'nt have much area coverage (takes forever). Don't they have another attatchment for an angle grinder like a pad that will do a much better job?

Re: Stubborn paint removal.

Anything you put on the grinder will start taking metal away which youll have to fill back in later

Get a 'jitterbug' palm sander or some sort of small orbital thing and go to town with 120-200grit

You could try a flap disk on it but I don't think it would be a very good idea. You might dent the hood because of the pressure. I'd say get a palm or orbital sander.

I've been using a palm sander on my bird and it works great. Way faster and better than by hand like i was doing.
That got old real quick!
